I keep having this reoccurring dream…

of having a French pen pal named Marjorie.

In fact, it’s become so prominent in my mind, that she’s become a character in the novel I’m writing.

My point is, is there a girl here on tumblr named Marjorie around the age of 19 from France that wants to be my pen pal? How bizarre would that be?

Seeking Another Pen Pal!

I have three pen pals, but I’d like to have more!

When looking for a pen pal, I’d like someone from another country than the U.S., but ti’s okay if you are! I’m really into theatre and music. I’m 19 and in college, so it’d be nice to have someone close to my age. YOU MUST BE COMMITTED TO SENDING LETTERS ON A REGULAR BASIS. However, if something comes up, it’s understandable. I speak a bit of French, but that’s not a requirement.

Wanted: A Pen Pal for my roommate!

Hello again! My roommate (who doesn’t have a tumble) found out that I had a few pen pals and she wants one now too! Here’s what she wrote for her ad:

My name is Jenny and I am 21 years old. I go to East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in the United States.  I am a Pre-nursing major and I used to be a Music Education student. I love music and hanging out with friends. I play the cello, sing, the piano and used to teach students how to play the cello and piano.  I also really enjoy arts, musicals, movies(of all kinds).  I also really really enjoy watching NCIS, The Office, Castle, Big Bang theory, Glee, and Community.  I try my best to keep up with all of them.  Even though I don’t do it very often, I really like camping/hiking. I enjoy the outdoors and would love to someday either live at the beach or in the mountains.

I’m looking for someone to share their experiences with me.  I would like someone out of the US but if you live within the US, that’s totally fine.  I would like to write to someone who at least enjoys music(doesn’t matter what kind) and really enjoys the outdoors. It doesn’t matter what major you are going into.  I can’t wait to meet you, it’s been a while since I’ve had a pen pal!!
